By joining and participating in Dream Achievers Cooperative, you agree to the following terms:
Membership
- Dream Achievers Cooperative (DAC) is a registered cooperative society established to empower members through contributions, savings, and access to financial and welfare benefits.
- Membership is open to individuals who meet the Cooperative’s eligibility requirements and agree to abide by its rules.
- Every member must complete the registration process and make the required contributions as agreed upon.
Contributions & Payments
- Members are required to make their weekly contributions on or before Thursday by 4:00 PM.
- Any payment not received by Friday 1:00 PM will be considered late and will attract a ₦2,500 penalty.
- Consistent late payment or default may lead to suspension of benefits or termination of membership.
Benefits & Payouts
- Members are entitled to access cooperative benefits such as loans, savings plans, and welfare support, subject to the rules of the cooperative.
- Payouts, loans, or benefits will only be available to financially up-to-date members.
Meetings
- General or special meetings will be communicated in advance, and attendance is compulsory unless formally excused.
- Weekly brief meetings hold every Thursday by 11:00 AM.
Code of Conduct
- Members are expected to conduct themselves with honesty, respect, and integrity.
- Any fraudulent activity, false representation, or breach of trust will lead to immediate disciplinary action, including expulsion.
Investment Terms
General
- This agreement covers your investment with Dream Achievers Cooperative (DAC). It outlines the volume and duration of your investment as documented in the registration form or web portal.
- It is designed to protect you, the investor, and your investment. By registering, you certify that you have read and understood the FAQs provided and agree with the responses therein.
- This agreement is binding on you (the investor) and Dream Achievers Cooperative (DAC) for the duration of your investment – 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or 5 years, as indicated on your registration form or web portal.
- By registering as an investor, you are automatically absorbed into the cooperative as a member until your investment is terminated by you.
- Investors may purchase multiple slots and rollover investments at will.
- Under no circumstances should an investor pay cash to any agent/marketer. All payments must be made directly into the Cooperative’s official bank account as provided in the registration form or web portal.
- Dream Achievers Cooperative (DAC) will not make any cash payments to investors. All investment proceeds will be paid directly into the investor’s registered bank account or by cheque as provided.
- In the event of early termination before maturity, the investor risks losing all accrued ROI on the invested amount.
Statutory Charges
- A 5% statutory charge applies to all investments to cover costs such as bank charges, taxes, and other administrative expenses.
Limitation of Liability
Dream Achievers Cooperative (DAC) will not be liable for:
- Any loss resulting from an investor providing an incorrect bank account number at registration.
- The source of an investor’s funds.
- The Cooperative’s financial obligation to the investor is limited strictly to the amount paid directly into its bank account (or by cheque) for the chosen investment package.
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising within the cooperative shall first be resolved internally by the management committee.
- If unresolved, disputes may be referred to appropriate regulatory bodies or settled in accordance with Nigerian Cooperative Laws.
Amendments
- The Cooperative reserves the right to review or amend these Terms & Conditions as necessary.
- Members will be duly notified of any changes, and continued participation will be deemed as acceptance of the revised terms.
